Owl Rescue – Talk 13 June 2026

Founded by Brendan and Danelle Murray to protect owls, one of South Africa’s most vulnerable urban wildlife species, the Owl Rescue Centre has grown from its Hartebeespoort base into a vital force in human-wildlife conflict management.

Driven by the core objectives of rescue, rehabilitation, release, habitat preservation and education, the Centre works tirelessly to restore the natural balance between communities and wildlife. At the heart of their release programme is a one-of-a-kind wild Owl sanctuary, where over a thousand rehabilitated owls are returned to freedom each year. This is complemented by the Owl House Project, which installs species specific nesting boxes to create safe breeding sites.

Come join us of Saturday the 13th of June at 10h00 for an informative talk and a cup of coffee. All proceeds go to Owl Rescue South Africa.
