Webinar Series Overview
This introductory series covers four major disease categories affecting dogs. Each session has an overview of the condition, treatments available which may be surgical, medical or a combination of the two, ideas on home management appropriate for the issue and a lively Q and A at the end.
Session 1: Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease
Cranial cruciate ligament disease (CCLD) is a leading cause of lameness and hind limb pain in dogs, resembling the ACL injury in humans. The cranial cruciate ligament plays a crucial role in stabilizing your dog’s knee joint, and its degeneration or rupture—whether sudden or gradual—can impact dogs of any age or breed. In this session, you’ll gain essential insights into the causes, risk factors, and management strategies for CCLD, equipping you with knowledge to better understand and support dogs affected by this common orthopaedic condition.
